David joined Campton Insurance Brokers (UK) Ltd in 1987 and has steadily moved up the Campton employment ladder, taking over from his father, John, as Managing Director in 2007.  David has a broad knowledge of insurance products and is Cert CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) qualified.   David is also Compliance Officer making sure that the stringent rules and regulations set out by the FCA (Financial Conduct Authority) are adherred to.

John joined the company when it was founded in 1965 by his step-father George Campbell (Camp) and Mr Peter Meaton (ton). His vast knowledge of insurance has held him in good stead over the last 40 years and he stepped down in 2007 leaving David to run the company, although he remains a Director and Commercial Insurance Executive working most days either in the office or visiting clients.

Michael's insurance career started in 1993 at a well known high street broker where he dealt with all classes of personal insurance, as well as claims handling. Since then, he has worked in both commercial and personal insurance sectors and now heads up the personal insurance team here at Campton. Michael joined us in November 2010.  He is a fan of spicy food and plays the piano. Amongst his (many) claims to fame, is meeting Princess Diana as a child and being followed by David Hasselhoff (yes the real David Hasselhoff) on Twitter!

Richard joined Campton in April 2015 as Campton’s new Commercial Insurance Manager. He has over 30 years’ experience in the Commercial Insurance Sector as both an underwriter and broker.

He started out as a Commercial Underwriter with L & G and later with GRE and Axa working on some very large corporate accounts such as Harrods and House of Fraser and later with New India as their Schemes Manager.

After 23 years he crossed over to broking and has developed a broad knowledge of all commercial product lines with a speciality in the building and allied trades. Richard’s vast experience has helped him to assist his clients from a variety of industry sectors both large and small. Outside work Richard is an avid supporter of Fulham FC (Never stop believing!).

Andrea first joined Campton insurance Brokers (UK) Ltd in 1990 but left a few years later for a quieter life. However she couldnt stay away and returned in 2001 to administer the day-to-day running of the vintage car insurance scheme run by Vintage Car Insurance Associates Ltd, an appointed representative of campton Insurance Brokers (UK) Ltd.
